At Interphex New York 2007 the IMA Group presented, in a space of 7200 square feet, new machines for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.
Solid Dose Processing
IMA exhibited a wide and innovative range of machines for solid dose processing requirements: the GHIBLI 50 modular fluid bed dryer, the new highly flexible and reliable PERFIMA perforated pan for film and sugar coating, the KILIAN SYNTHESIS 500 WIP mid-size tablet press with a Wash In Place system, the KILIAN SYNTHESIS 700 high speed tablet press and the IMATIC 200 high speed capsule filling machine with 100% indirect net weight control. Also on display, the PRECISA weight checking machine for capsules and tablets, the VIMA TWINVALVE high containment valve system with simple design and maximum efficiency and finally the VIMA CYCLOPS LAB tumbler for the blending of powder and granules.
On display, the IMA Win.Pack TR200 the smallest and most flexible blister machine that can work on one or two blister rows at 360 blisters/minute, especially designed for small to medium production runs with a very compact footprint and with a very short change over time. The machine that IMA presented is arranged to work all kind of packaging materials with a very simple system to seal child resistant lidding foils using continuous motion at high production efficiency and sealing quality.
IMA exhibited the revolutionary M.A.C. Modular Aseptic Compact System, a compact monoblock unit, with one control system, that incorporates washing, depyrogenation, filling, closing and capping operations on a 8ft x 20ft base and meets all stringent FDA and EMEA regulations. Minimizing risks, ensuring process repeatability and cost reductions.

This new freeze-dryer covers a range specifically for the research and development industry according to cGLP. The LYOBETA series incorporate a PLC and user friendly HMI to optimize control, reliability and reproducibility of the process.
